Artist, designer, professor at the School of Industrial Design (ESDI/UERJ) and member of MediaLab UERJ, Rafael Costa develops research and work in virtual reality painting and immersive art. His work connects Afro-Brazilian culture, music, ancestry, technology, and education, exploring virtual environments as spaces for creation and critical reflection. He also works on outreach projects related to the Black Designers Collective, such as Bèlu.
