The large majority of sandbox games on VIVERSE are free to play, giving you the freedom to build, create, and cause a little chaos, all in your browser. No installs, no downloads, no waiting around.

Not sure where to start? Here are 3 worth trying:

1. Bloxd.io — a free Minecraft-style sandbox game where you build, explore, and fight in an open blocky world.
2. Office Crashout — a destruction game and the first-place winner of VIVERSE's own Spark hackathon, drops you into an empty office with a growing task list, then lets you cathartically destroy everything in sight with whatever's on hand once the pressure boils over.
3. Captain Forever IO — has you building spaceships while flying them: blast an enemy ship apart, grab a piece, and bolt it straight onto your own, with everything physically simulated and io-style multiplayer to build and battle alongside others.

VIVERSE's sandbox catalog is still growing, with new creator-made worlds added regularly.

FAQ

Is Bloxd.io the same as Minecraft?

No, but it's heavily inspired by it. Bloxd.io is a separate free sandbox game with its own blocky building, exploring, and combat.

What happens in Office Crashout?

You're left alone to run an office and complete a growing list of tasks under pressure. Once your rage meter fills, you can smash the office apart with whatever's nearby for a high score.

Do I need to build my own ship from scratch in Captain Forever IO?

No. There's no ship editor, you build by blasting enemy ships apart and bolting their pieces onto your own while flying, and your ship's design directly affects how it flies and fights.

Are VIVERSE's sandbox games free to play?

The large majority are, including everything featured here, with nothing to download or install.
