The art style that I use in my creative process is called “Litema”. Litema is an ancient Basotho art style that was predominantly ( and exclusively) practised by the Basotho women as early as the 1600s. It is a form of religious art. It was used to praise God (Higher Power) and the ancestors. It was also used as a means of communication.
